How I de-stressed my Mind, Body and Soul. My Saturday Morning Vibe.
Tensed up and stressed out during a week of vacation. No time for me. I need to release and de-stress this day.
I got up this morning being served breakfast and coffee. Unsure of what my mood would be today, there were literally no plans made for this Saturday morning, afternoon or evening.
This was a vacation week for us but for some reason we did not get any relaxation in.
My body was tired and sore with lower back aches. I was stressed from the bottom of my feet to the top of my head.
It was time to de-stress me.
I ran a bath with Epsom salt and added in a few drops of Lemon & Eucalyptus oil. Grabbed my Soy Facial Cleanser, Recover – E Cucumber Eye Pads, some Milk Bubble Bath and my Shea Moisture African Black Soap Body Wash along with my mini blue tooth shower speaker and took time out for me.
As I relaxed in that bubble bath listening to my ‘Me=Time’ play list, it was all good.
I didn’t even need a glass of champagne for this bath. No iPad, phone or computer.
As the quote says, I relaxed, relayed and released.
Sometimes you have to take time out for you. That is something I had not done in a while.
Happy to say that this day motivated me to keep striving and moving.
My new guilty pleasure.
