have the dreams.
hit the road running.
make the plans.
spend the money.
put in the work.
lose track of time.
want to scream at everyone that comes into your presence.
want to drink your problems away.
can’t sleep at night due to all of that worry.
have hair that is falling out, your weight is going up and down.
can care less about the weather outside.
don’t remember if you ate dinner or not.
forgot to shower this morning.
see no progress.
have no real support system.
The feeling of being overwhelmed is a minor way of putting your existence into words these days. Going thru the motions and processes of what you were told would get you thousands of followers and help get you noticed.
But it is nothing like the stories you read from all of those that went before you.
You feel duped and stupid because you were trying to walk down that path that others said would get you out there in no time.
HaHaHa – you fell for the okey doke.
There is not enough time in a week to for you to get all of this stuff done all while maintaining a full time job. As I stated in one of my other post Where Do You Find Time.. I have a lot of things going on and those things have been put on the back burner while I try to get my blog up to perfection.
I also went out and purchased a journal, a yearly planner and a separate calendar to try and setup a routine schedule for progression.
As it turns out after the first month of trying to plan my days got me nowhere. I now know that it is best for me to fill it out at the end of the week versus the beginning.
Going back after the week is done to see how much I was able to accomplish. Seeing that progress in a different light and accepting it as achieving goals. Versus wanting to stab myself for the goals that I did not get done. This really does work for me. You can probably say that’s doing things backwards but it works.
The point I am making is that what worked for Susie Q. and Bobbie T. is not guaranteed to work for you. Or me for that matter.
The work has to be put in and you have to suck it up and take the blows and the woes. Trust me, as tedious as this process seems to be, it will be worth it.
I am one of those that jumps and looks for instant success on things. A few times that has worked for me and a few times it has not.
This is one time that it has not. Putting in the work while going thru the process is teaching me a lot and I appreciate every minute of it. So if this is something you want, buckle down, put on a helmet, grab your glass and set in for the long haul.
