When Is It Really Time To Go Day 7
What’s holding you back from taking that step? Stopping you from launching your own blog and having your own workplace freedom.
When Is It Really Time To Go? Are you ready to step out there and make a go for it? How many times do you ask yourself that question in a week? It seems as though this is a daily question for me. Especially things happen that makes no sense and it’s like no one is affected by it but you. You start to think and wonder how you’ve managed to last this long. And then most importantly you ask yourself WHY have you lasted this long.
I can say that I am a changed woman. In the past I was the one that would fly off and think nothing about it. The one who would hold a grudge. Made my presence known. Now they say people should be able to see the God in you. I don’t know if that is true for all, but I do know I feel the God in me. He is holding my tongue and helping me to be more passive these days. And with these passing days he is helping build the determination in me to succeed.
With that, I am ever more glad that I read the post from Michelle Schroeder-Gardner and followed thru with her 7 day free email course. Michelle of http://www.makingsenseofcents.com offered the class to help others launch a successful blog with some very good tips and advice.
Today was the last day of the free 7 day email course for me. I really want to say that I enjoyed following along with this course; it gave me a lot to think about as well as kept me motivated to want to succeed at blogging. There are also some sites that I follow on Instagram. (i.e. @womeneur, @bossladiesnetwork, @strategistcafe,@ businessrulesforwomen, @before5am, @her.network, @strategistcafe and a few others) that contributed to my push and motivation to not give up or give in. There teachings and words were a definite boost for me and they all seem to come thru at the right time.
As I read in today’s course, the same site issues that I am having are not just happening or have happened to me. It’s good to know that those who have made it at one time had the same struggles a beginner. It’s not just the getting noticed struggle. But the computer and blog set up struggles. The links and connections struggles. Things not being directed the right way and not knowing how to fix them.
Michelle’s teachings for me were easy to read, easy to follow and easy to adapt into what I want to achieve. What I love about her course, Michelle didn’t get into all of that extra drama of trying to explain computer set up and then leave you lost. Some other “teachings” that I tried to follow along with left me even more confused than before I started. I guess I had to finally realize that a blog about setting up a blog should be just that. I need someone to dummy down theme set up for a blog. The actual set up of a theme with linking and categorizing and what to do if your links are not going where they should and title set up and menus.
My prayer is that after this week, I no longer have those struggles or issues. That my permalinks are all in order. Menu’s will be aligned correctly and going to the right categories and that I have a successful blog. That my time is now.
