When Is It Really Time Day 2 Blog Series
I woke up this morning in Boss Beast mode, you know, that Woman On A Mission mode. It’s hard to believe but sometimes it takes more than just one kick in the rear to get you motivated and on the right track to accomplish your goals and feed your ambitions.
So what did I do before writing this post this morning and in that Boss Beast mode; well first thing I did after my prayers was grab my laptop and go straight to my Etsy Shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop/shemoondesigns) and did some updating and rearranging or adjusting to my store. These seasons are changing quickly and the days are flying by – no need to advertise Halloween décor on November 4. Now it’s all about the Fall Season and Thanksgiving and of course Christmas. Being that I am my own marketing agent, team and department, I have to do the job myself to keep my payroll in line.
But before I did all of that, I did check my e-mail for Day 2 of the 7 day free email blogging course on How to launch a successful blog by Michelle Schroeder-Gardner of http://www.makingsenseofcents.com,
Today’s course was “Determine What to Blog About”, in this course Michelle recommends creating a blog around something that you are passionate about and she lists some possible blog ideas. She also answers the question if someone should be an expert or have a degree in the niche they choose to blog about.
For me, this topic goes with the first course of why do you want to start a blog, When It Is Really Time To Go Day 1 which I am still trying to figure that part out. But then again, Michelle has been doing this for awhile and I am getting this course for free so I am going to take every advantage of it and get THIS blog up and going,
Hmm, what do I want to blog about….. let’s see:
My hobbies are wreath making and jewelry making – I could blog about wreaths and the process of making them as well as do some tutorials on Doing It Yourself.
I am unhappy in my current job – I could blog about what goes on in this day to day life.
I deal with some crazy situations – I could blog about the scenarios that take place when asked some of the silliest questions.
My mind is always playing tricks on me – I could blog about how I dream of being rich and famous and how I don’t have to go to someone else’s job.
I love football – I could blog about football season and how I am a ‘Ride or Die’ Atlanta Falcon fan even when we are losing and what we could do so much better.
I have a Shih Tsu named Brutus – I could write about him and how he rules the house on a daily basis and how he tries to run up on every dog he meets no matter how big.
I love to shop – I could write about my shopping experiences and my favorite store in the whole world that I will always shop at even in my rich fantasies, New York and Company.
I am a computer dummy – I could really write a book about what I don’t know about the computers and how the struggle for me is definitely real and doesn’t seem to be getting better anytime soon.
My mom lives with us – I could write about the experiences of my husband and my mom’s adventures.
There are so many to choose from and like Michelle mentioned in the course, I could blog about more than one subject. Let’s see where this takes me.
