Because Life Happens

Computer Drama (back at it again)

Well, it’s been a little over a month since I have posted anything because I have been so damn fed up with this process of getting set up.  It is safe to say that I gave up (almost).  But here I am back again to go thru the trials and tribulations for success at a website setup.  I give up to easy on things that frustrate the hell out of me but this time I will keep holding on.

What’s the point of saying you want to start a blog and a business and then you give up at the time of trouble, especially when you have paid money that you really didn’t have and really didn’t want to pay in the first place.  That gut extinct that you hear about really hits you when you least expect it too.  Anyway here I am again no further than I was before, just lost time that I can’t get back.

While I was away I started a new phase in my projects- I have a new Etsy shop called Wooden Nickel Beads; I am now making stretch bracelets and anklets.

I am still making wreaths and swags as well and with the season change and the holidays fast approaching, I am set to get things ready to sell.  I really need the big push of business this year to compensate my losses thus far and to recoup from last year as well.  I have been enjoying myself making new and better products and seeing how much I have improved with my designs.  The art of crafting.  That does still leave me with a sense of feeling beat down and unsuccessful because I don’t have this site set up and I am still struggling with sales.

Three different Swags made for the 2016 Fall/Autumn season
Three different Swags made for the 2016 Fall/Autumn season

As this season began I was contacted by my very first Etsy buyer to make her a Fall Swag.  I knew the season was approaching and I needed to get kicked in to gear but somehow I lost track of timing so I was unprepared to say the least.  Thanks to that buyer I was able to get some things done and have been working on them ever since.

All in all my efforts are good but my computer knowledge still sucks.  #workinprogress

Blogging was something that I wanted for my niece. She never followed thru so I started my own. Nothing specific just a lot of general things that I discuss because Life Happens and I talk about it.
