When Is It Really Time To Go Day 5
When is it really time to go Day 5 Blogging Course is about Tips for Passive Income.
In todays course, Michelle talks about how she (like most of you bloggers – I am still just getting started) was barely earning any income and now earning over $50,000.00. As she explains what affiliate income is and how it works, stating that you can earn money from years down the road without doing any real work. That’s what makes it passive.
In her tips for increasing affiliate income, Michelle states that she uses the “Pretty Link plugin” for her blog (http://makingsenseofcents.com) to make her links look cleaner. She does say that you should provide real reviews and always be honest with them.
If you don’t like it don’t write about it or if you still decide to write about it list any negatives that you may have.
Her other suggestions are – asking for raises if you are doing well with a program. (yes or no will be the answer and of course you don’t know if you don’t ask)
– form a good relationship with affiliate managers (good relationships mean goodies for your readers)
– publish tutorials (let your followers know how the products you are reviewing work and what they are good for)
– have a recommendations page (a page that lists your products / services that you love and share on your page for your viewers)
– Join affiliate programs: here are some that Michelle has listed in this blogging course.
Max Bounty, Avant Link, Shareasale, Flex Offers, Commission Junction and Amazon’s Affiliate Program.
As I look forward to my journey towards blogging success, I am thrilled that I came across Michelle’s blog post on Pinterest. I read it instead of just Pinning it to my Business News Board. When Pinteresting, that’s what you do. Then you try to find time to go back and read all of those Pins. Every now and again I come across a Pin that I have to stop and read it right then. “How To Quit Your Job and Become a Full Time Blogger“. If you started reading this series, When It Is Really Time To Go, then you have probably said that I should have been gone a long time ago.
As I sit here and type this blog post, I think back to when I tried blogging for the first time a few years ago. I was denied for being to new of a blog and not having over 5000 followers. My thought was how do I get followers?
Not realizing that the purpose of a blog was for people to read and share your post with others. Hey, I didn’t know; I was (and still am) new to the game of blogging.
I know I WILL be turned down a lot but I have to be diligent and not give up.
Rejection- no one likes it and it can be a real page turner for some of us. It was for me in the past. BUT NOT ANYMORE! So once again I ask the question, When Is It Time….
