When Is It Really Time To Go Day 4
Determination is the Key. Here’s a saying that just ring home to me when it comes to what I need to get things accomplished. And as I sit here in front of my computer and type this post, I have no idea when, where and if anyone will be reading it because once published; I can barely find my post myself.
I have been and continue to struggle with this goal for quite some months now, yet, here I sit just typing away on my blog. Why is that? Because I am stubborn as hell and I paid for this sh$%% and I need for it to work for me. Right now on this Sunday night of day lights saving time I am confessing that I will follow this thru somehow, someway I will make this work!
On Day 4 of learn how to launch a successful blog, the course is all about where does blog info come from. Michelle of http://makingsenseofcents.com gives the opportunities that are out there for those of us looking to make money blogging. Below are clips from the course of ways to get paid:
What ways can a person start making money blogging?
There are several ways to make money blogging. These include:
- Affiliate marketing
- Blog sponsorships
- Display advertising
- Staff Writing
These options seem wonderful to me except for the fact that I am not fully functional. I mean that my theme is not cooperating with me and I don’t know what the hell I am doing. Being persistent has got to get me somewhere. My days are divided between blogging, crafting (bracelets and wreaths), pinning on Pinterest and posting on Instagram and Facebook and let’s not forget working that other job.
- Oh my goodness, I almost forgot my main jobs, you know the ones…wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, gees my life is full and I didn’t mention my time to sleep in this list.
As I go thru these sessions and I type these posts for my “blog”, it has helped me realize something. That I am just a few hundred hours away from making this a success.
- Something is going to happen and my blog posts will be readable.
- I will apply for affiliates and advertising and sponsorships. And after the first initial 5000 turn downs someone will say yes. I am very optimistic and very determined to see it thru.
- I just pray I don’t go broke and my husband doesn’t divorce me thru all of this.
- Dreaming of tomorrow.
